On January 9, 2013, an 18-year-old died when he put a gun to his head
to show friends and family how safe it was, and the weapon fired, killing him,
in St. Petersburg, Florida.
It’s possible that the victim had bought the gun for
self-protection.
The weapon seems to have been legally purchased.
